Hmmm.... sounds like a Borg trooper. But this is a pic of five of my Mosins.



1) M91 dated 1917 - Sesty
2) M91/30 round receiver
3) Finn M39 - dated 1942
4) M44 Izzy - dated 1946. My Blonde Russian!
5) T53 Chinese, sadly bubba'd. I had hoped to 'remilitarise' it, but the bubba cut an inch off the barrel! ARRGGHH!!

Not shown - M91/30 Hex receiver, another M44 Carbine (dark finish).
Lately I have been having lots of fun testing handloads using a couple different powders and new Lapua brass. Much tighter shooting than surplus ammo!

Nice collection. For the Chinese, what about trying to make a special cut down stock for it? Wouldn't be original, but might bring it back a little dignity.

That inch at the muzzle was probably badly buggered when they got it.
It will be a fair shooter and a loaner for friend or relative you might invite on a hunt.

Good as an outhouse gun if nothing else.
