picked this one up this week.1948 last year of production.bore is super clean.butt plate and floor plate were re stamped to match.the bolt and reciever stamped matching.

mario how many east german rifles do you have??.they are very uncommon,hard to find.

....I dont...I was refering to M44's in general....got a Hungarian 1953 I wish could talk about where its been...thats about as "rare" :lol

as I have been able to get besides Ruskis...but even those seem always ragged...you sir,have the gift of aquiring beauties...
