I can't believe the price this has gotten up to!

It's not just Finns - people are bidding wildly on Italian JUNK! I have 3 rifles I'm going to list on the auctions since there seems to be $. Must be folks getting their tax refunds. SW

m27rv carbine. around 3,000 made and they saw heavy use during the ww2 time frame. all but around 300 were destroyed by the finns later. out of those 300-320 that escaped destruction, no one knows how many were imported into the states. these are almost as hard to find as an m91/rv, m24rv, or an ulaani IMHO.
very finite supply, and apparently quite a few folks who want one badly. bet the seller was smiling at the end of the auction.
last one I saw on there went for a buy it now price of 3k.

The prices of Finn mil surps are starting to come down now to where they are some what reasonable.
The price of m/39s are still ridiculous.

The danged bayonet may be worth more than the rifle.

A rare Finn to be sure. In the world of Mosin rifles made by the millions, there are a few true collectable types/calibers. I have a Spanish civil war Mosin in 8x57 Mauser and an fighting with the Fed's to import
a Trials rifles made for the Brits in .303 caliber.

I have a couple of old pump pingpong ball rifles I think I will auction at that site or maybe the Brooklyn Bridge.

this is not an m27. it is one of maybe 300 m27 cavalry carbines in existence in the world. there are mosin nagants that are more rare, but not very many. If a standard m27 could bring this kind of price, i'd have gunbroker flooded with them and laugh all the way to the bank.
the last 3 of these i've seen sell all went in the 3k range, and the one with a buy it now of 3k went very quickly.

never thought it'd happen, but I do agree with rgrwjb on the m39's. they are priced ridiculously high right now, and folks just can't seem to buy them fast enough at the advertised prices.
