can you post pic's of the muzzle area? there is also a model 91/38 that was made with an m44 bayonet, then the bayonet portion was milled off. with a date of 1928, that sounds like what you have there. it's not a 91/59 because they have 91/30 rear sights with the range markings above 1000m milled off. the one you have has the shorter sight. 91/38's are more uncommon than the m38 and bring higher prices.
