found a nice B barrel M39 today.matching great bore in a post war stock.I am going to try get out to the range with it next week.

...that color of the barrel-compared to the hex reciever....sure looks nice on my monitor... :Dbounce:

thanks martin for $225.00 I just couldn't walk away.the guy threw in some 180 gr yellow tip and some bulgarian lt. ball on stripper clips with the rifle.its a finn matching rifle the bolt looks mostly tula.I haven't taken it out of the stock yet to check the tang date but maybe tonight.

ok I got ya now :oops: .its because the Belgians used more nickel in their steel and when they blued the barrels they turned a plum color.

$225.00 :-o :-o , that's about €170.00.
The average price for a M39 on this side of the pond , depending on arsenal and condition, is somewhere between €250.00 and €300.00 ( that's $330-$395.00)

I took it down and its built on a tula 99 reciever.all the shims were in place in the stock.I'll bet its a sweet shooter.
