Hi all,
Just thought I would make myself known to you and show you some photo's of my Type 99.
It's a 21st series Kokura made in 1942 with a repro monopod and cleaning rod.

welcome , and thats a great looking T-99 , bolt cover and aircraft sights are a nice touch too

....looks to be in very nice condition ;) ...do you shoot it???....how is the ammo availability???...or do you "roll your own"...???

Yes I do shoot it, I am a shooter first and a collector second!
I load both FMJ and cast ammo for it, the chrome bore is in very good condition and it is an accurate rifle.
You can't see from the photo's, but the mum is intact.

Very nice! One of these days I will have to shoot the one's I have. at least the ammo is getting to be more available and reasonably priced.
