Yes. Tap the front sight blade out of the base. This will expose a tiny set screw that holds the base on the barrel. Back the screw out - tap the base off the barrel and you are set to make whatever adjustments.

does the front sight remove from the type 1? I bought a sporterized version, it shoots norma ammo quite high at 100 yards. I believe i can see a seam along the front sight. thanks for the info |
