The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. It looks like a nicely done sporterised T44 that has had the area for the bayonet machined off!? The rest of the rifle looks untouched even the stock looks ok. Here is a photo of mine to compare to.

It maybe hard to find the bayonet section and metal butt plate but if I saw it I would buy it and let the search begin for the other parts. There are folks here better at this then me.

As I told you by email, I would restore it. A bayonet housing is going to cost from $150 to $200. The middle band will be from $50 to $100. I have paid $175 for bayonet housing and $80 for center band. Keep the rifle like it is till you find the parts. I've been holding on to a front sight and a butt plate for 50 years waiting for the time when I will need it. Did need the sight not long ago. In this hobby - hoard parts. riceone.
