Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

as long as im here , its worth some notes ,

the original target on august 9th 1945 was Kokura , but the target was obscured , when captain bock turned "bockscar" toward nagasaki with 'fatman' aboard it changed history for the city and the war ,

its not as well known as the Enola Gay , but it is perhaps more important , it resides [last i knew] in the U.S. Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio , theres a mushroom cloud painted next to her nose art ,

captain bock was a friend of my father and mothers prior to going overseas , my father had hoped to be assigned to his aircraft - didnt work out that way ,

not a good photo but the best i have right now
