Today I brought home a nice t38 Cavalry. I can't seem to make Photobucket work at the moment(last 2 hours), but I have a general question for those in the know...
I have the 5th edition of MROJ, and on pages 56 & 57, I see my rifle(not the same one, but identical).
The question being, now that time has gone by, and more knowledge has been gathered, is that info still considered correct?
Rifles pulled at random and shortened ect. It has the 25" bbl.

I belive that book is still considered the holy grail of japanese rifle info. I have not found a better book yet. Someone else might know more though.

The book MROJ is still pretty accurate except on these it says the barrels were replaced with a shorter one. That may be true for some or many - mine has it's original early six groove barrel that has just been shortened. There's a new book out now on 6.5mm rifles that I'm hopin arrives today!

Nice looking short rifle! There should be a "step" in the barrel just behind the upper band and the stock should have one or two Nagoya inspection marks. These were modified at the Chigusa plant at Nagoya.
