Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Hey Rob, On your dummy on the left there is what looks like a coiled cord or something. It runs over the right shoulder and between the holster strap and the lanyard for the pistol. What might it be?

That would be my Captain Mannequin. The thing you're asking about is the shoulder strap to his canteen. The leather strap has been carefully covered with wool cloth that looks to me like it came from a soldiers puttee.

You're welcome. Ya know what cracks me up about this mannequin is that there is a very nice sword belt & hanger under the tunic as well as a nice officer's shirt - and ya can't even see them! Several hundred $$ are hiding there. Even on my full mannequin, I have stuff they would have had in the pockets, haversack & pack. I guess all that matters is that I know they are there. 8)

thats some fine photography , its working well for you , i like your displays , those japanese uniforms look very nice displayed on the manequins , and i do enjoy the accoutraments
