well, it's got a whole bunch of matching numbers, and that's about the going rate around here, it looks like a good deal to me.

Do all the T99 rear sites look like that, or did the airplane sights get taken off somewhere along the way?

Dave I almost bid on that just to annoy you! Congratulations! Condition could be a lot better but you now have a scarce 7th series with the long rear sight. You should have a great tomato crop this year!

Thanks,Rob...Ive really need to have this variation for a while.If I ever ge the picture thing sorted out,I plan to post it along with its baby sister ,the grooved safety 6th I picked up a couple months back...Rob answered the question too,LOL...thats a 7th series nagoya with the long rear sight they made around 2000 guns like that total before they changed to the short S-7 pattern sight (sight D on the data sheets)..condition isnt great but scarcity made it worth buying to me.

Here is another odd one, condition isnt great but I decided it was worth the $125 I gave for it ( I almost passed ,I didnt need another nagoya 7,then I looked one more time) ... sometimes not being perfect isnt all that bad.

So, I take it the # on this safety does match this Jinsen?

Yep shes all matching, jin proofed too, stock has jin and kokura proof I belive., too bad some one decided that it would look better without front sight ears.ugly black paint all over it,I left it Might be supposed to be there...I only have one mismatched grooved safety rifle, And its my side of disputing that series 7 had the C sight any where close to 2100 range...Ive owned 1302 for about 6 yrs, remember all the grief you gave me about buying a S-7 missing its safety? 1302 has a D rear sight. I found a loose grooved nagoya safety and fitted it to 1302 and its good enough til I find the correct one.
