Just realized with my "test Photo" that I haven't taken a shot of the room lately. Thinned out about 35 rifles last year & added a few so it's still kind of at "low tide".

Here's two Nagoya T-99 long rifles, a T-2, a T-99 Pressure test rifle and a 20th series Kokura with it's "bringback paper.

Your dummies look pretty sad these days! You know you have to give them a sake break every now and then don't you? Having guard duty all day every day is the pits! What did they do, Break your sake cup collection?

That's a Nagoya T-99 pressure test rifle S/N 25. These were used to evaluate ammunition production. It has a "crusher" chamber that some form of media was put in & the deformation caused by firing could be measured & the pressure determined.

Good question. I'm sure we as well as other countries had similar test rifles but I've never seen any.
