One man's insult is another's chuckle. I happen to agree with the "poster" under attack. He could have said, "Oh excuse me sir, but you should never, never, never shoot a training rifle, it could hurt the nice rifle and be bad for your health.." He was more to the point and I only saw one complaint.
I check the "other Board" occasionally to see if there are any "grains of wheat among the chaff." All I see is a dull, "Look what I found" "What's this worth" "Did I do good?" majority of posts Board. It's lost it's personality as well as one advanced collector, Mutt, who did much to educate the newbys.
I'm not knocking that Board in particular, all Boards including this one have the basic, stupid questions from the guys that refuse to buy the books and learn. The guy that bought the $3500 sniper did not have a $42 copy of MRoJ until this weekend, we sold it to him. He was running with Duncan's "Japanese Military Rifles of WWW II" A fair reference, but no where near MRoJ.
This is the real world, some people don't mince words, they call a spade a spade, some like it, a few don't. If you are stupid I'll tell you so, hoping you learn from it. If you don't like it, as the old saying goes, lump it. See below...
