The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

This is a Type 99 24th. Series that my dad sent home in 1944. It has the large recoil lug and the upper forearm is not drilled for a cleaning rod and has the round retainer for a short rod. The bolt got swapped around and is missmatched but it is a nice rifle.

Hello Tommy,
Lets see a picture of your 8th series. I just got one matching with the mum. sight guards and type 99 on the receiver. Its a really neat rifle. I think you have the only other one I've ever heard about with those features.
