Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

I wanted to show and let you guys tell me what you think , picked this up a few years ago from a lady who told me her grand kids were trying to put all kinds of shells in it trying to shoot it !! :-o

The pic's are not great but as far as i can tell it's a Nagoya Arsenal and the serial # is 14758 does this sound good ?

I knew it was a jap rifle when i bought it { mum is ground} but not so much on it being a paratrooper rifle , the story is true she was wanting to get it out of her house and through a friend i gave $80.00 for it i would like to know what type of sling is correct.

Here is a pic of the swivels if this helps , also what caliber is this and has anybody on here ever fired one of these break down rifles ?

Nice rifle. I would say if the gun was actually issued, it would have had a sling. Once a paratrooper hit the groung...he became infantry! I believe the correct sling would have quick snap releases on it. Rare and expensive. Someone on another board was making repros of it I believe, but I have been trying to find out who it was. When the old site crashed, it came back with all those posts gone.

Does the front and back half match?

Without quoting several other posts, the mum has been ground, all the #s match, no dust cover, cleaning rod is there. Tetsau mentioned a leg bag used by paratroopers would this be a Holy Grail item or are they out there?
