I admit to being fascinated by all things Japanese from the Imperial period.
I have more than these pics say, but It's a start.

Come on...there are those of you who'd put these pics to shame...I want to see those pics........

Thanks. I prefer the 6.5's. Kinda surprised that I only have the one '44.
Since this I've picked up three more 99's. One a long and the others last ditchies.
There just haven't been any 6.5's for sale at my locale.

I like em!!! Very nice. Would love to have that first carbine. About the nicest I've seen. Carbines are about as hard to find ast T2's. riceone.

Good eye for the battle hardened. That ones got two more patches up near the front band/bayonet lug. That one (2nd Carbine from top) is the same series and arsenal as the one that riceone talked about, only 3,000 odd rifles older. Both are koishikawa 1st series.
The 3rd from top is a Mukden, no series, but the serial # is six digits long.
I've shot them all and the one with the splices is a little tighter than the rest.
Now you've done it. I just bought a bunch of new 6.5 at the gunshow a few weeks ago and now I want to use it!
