unfortunately, a local mom and pop gun store owner retired. On the good side, he cleaned out his back room of stuff real cheap. I picked up 1000 bulk Remington .303 180 grain RN soft point,guess these are core-lockt, for more than half of regular price.
Is there any experiance with this bullet? I plan on using IMR 3031.

I also have several hundred of these, but have yet to test them. There are a good number of reviews of them at Midwayusa.com. People have used them on everything including Enfields, Type 99 Japanese, Nagants-m91-M39 most everyone likes them. A few people think that theirs were sized too small to seat securely, but they evidently never heard of chucking the expander rod in a drill and using 400-600 wet or dry to drop the diameter of the expander ball 0.001-.002 in. Accuracy wise I think everyone is happy with them. The ballistic coefficient is going to be low due to the round nose, but most people aren't shooting game beyond 300 yards.
