Well my local Gun shop guy gave me this, that's right I said gave as in free of charge. helps that I have been helping him out though. From what I know and I have not had the time to look up much of anything, this arisaka rifle was captured buy the Chinese and converted or bored out to 8mm. the brass bandaids on the wrist of the stock look like they were done long ago and I would not be surprised if it was done in china. Kind of a neat one, but there is no way I am going to try to shoot it. Maybe someone else out there knows more about it. it has a star on the butt stock, I assume this to be the red armys mark.

That article is out of "Bolt Action Military Rifles of the World" by Stuart Mowbrary and Joe Puleo, and the rifles are owned by John Wall.

I thought I had that book , but turns out it was "military mausers of the world" that I got. Is that one worth getting?
