This is the rifle given to me by a relative many years ago, I gave it to my older brother about 25 years ago.

I think it had a rear sight but I received it completely disassembled, and I think the relative that gave it to me kept the rear sight. I understand its not uncommon for the rear sight to be left off so the threaded in dummy barrel will be visible so people will be less likely to try to fire live rounds.
Aside from a couple of screws, and the missing sight, the rifle appears to be complete and in pretty good shape.
The stock is a one piece, without provision for the separate back strap.

It looks like a Type 30 - was it made to resemble one of those? SW
