| Post subject: | Stock for an Ishapore 2A1? |
Had a customer come in today with a new purchase, turns out to be an Ishapore 2A1. But the stock is in bad shape. He's got a repair by the butt plate that looks like some guy did it in his garage with a bottle of Gorilla Glue and there's a huge chunk missing up by the receiver. The receiver wiggles in the stock, so I told him he might not want to shoot it until he gets a replacement stock. He wants to keep the gun looking as original as possible. Any ideas on where he can get a complete stock kick to replace the original? Thanks! |

Springfield Sporters (ssporters.com) will be the best place. Problem with the Ishy's is the mahogany they use. Looks purdy but isn't the strongest of woods for a military rile. |
