1964 RFI 2A 7.62mm.

looks like a nice one

cant see the back sight or markings , is this a true 2A ? or a 2A1 ?
if a 2A would you post that backsight it would be nice for millwright to copy for the 'young mans' referance file to keep with his 2A1

maybe he will post it here since all the old photos are in cyberspace ?

great hopefully duane will print that off for his sons file , it is the primary diference between the 2A and 2A1 rifles ,

My other 2a is a little nicer. I'll get around to posting it one of these days. I need to get a 2a1 one of these times.

oh , i didnt realise you had two , and yes we want to see the photos , and yes indeed you do need a 2A1 , you will like it very much ,

how pray tell did you end up with two ?

AIM had a special on them. I was hoping to get one a little nicer than the first, some were also reporting 2a1s were being shipped as 2a's. I like the fact that they are in 7.62. can't have too many Enfields of any sort.

Here's a pic of my 1949 mark III* It once was a wire wrap but in my youthful inexperience I unwrapped it - now it's a great shooter.
