Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

I have a 1914 BSA No1 MkIII.
I also have a 1941 Lithgow No1 MkIII.
My BSA is currently not in my hands as its out with the smith who's fitting a sub caliber .22 insert kit.
I'm trying to fit a globe front-sight & have run into a puzzle. I have 2 possible sights to fit, but I vaguely remember the BSA has the backward-sloping blocks to prevent sunlight reflections, but the Lithgow doesn't seem to?
Was there ever a parallel, not inclined sight block for the BSA SMLE's or is that unique to the Lithgow rifles?
Are they interchangeable If I can find one?
TIA as always.
