But the stock doesn't look right.

Doesn't seem to have the disc or a voly sight.

Did all of the P-14's come with those two items originally?

The rifles I got came today, including the P-14. Got to take a close look at all of them before the dealer put them in his safe for the 10 day waiting period. Think it might be an M1917 stock. Seems to be some extra room in the inletting around the front of the floor plate, as though it was originally cut for the longer 30.06 magazine. Other than that, the rifle is in excellent condition, including the bore.

I'll post some pics after I get them from the dealer 10 days from mow.

Guess I'll need to find a p-14 stock now.

im betting you are correct on the M17 stock but id like to see photos when you get them in hand , the scotish stocks [mkII] are fairly rare and quite valueable , if it turns out to be one of those you can be just as happy as if it were in its originag wood with volleys

if its an M17 and you desire a P14 email me ill put you onto someone who has a supply of them , but that looks to be a very nice rifle in very nice wood , id consider leaving it as is first
