Thanks! I can sure use the info. I am always afraid of the wood working end of guns.......metal no problem, but the wood scares me

as an aside -
theres an interesting arguement/disagreement going on between he and others at CSP lately over articals written by another i respect reguarding 'humped' colector rifles

me too - i love the no5 , almost took mine to the range today - they always garner all the attention ,

dialed in the FAL [with leupold , bruce] on the short range , now i gotta get to the 100-then 200 , then i get to start over with the M1A and the new leatherwood when it gets here

.....geeeez-and here I thought only humped K98s were the problem...

i think everything of value is a potential target - check your mosins boys , they are fast becomming the talk of the town and once the values get up there high enough - who knows ,

the enfeilds are an obvious target of the pros for the high buck peices , and yes there are some that command very high prices once you get eather side of the common no1 mkIII* and no4s ,

the M1 garand & carbines are too as well as the M1903s , not to mention the krags - these are very susceptable for the uninformed
