they are handsome rifles - maybe that would stop some of the chopping

I saw one of these, the M10-A2 model at a local store, gander mountain, and wasn't all that impressed with the quality. It was in 7.62x39 caliber. The front sight, flash hider is really cheesy. The flash hider assbly is a clamp-on deal, with screws holding it in place. The front sight was an SKS type screw in post, the rear sight was a simple flip up peep like the early war version. The wood was ok, the finish was nice, the metal finish was ok, metal to wood fit was ok, but the sights turned me off, and that flash hider wasn't very pretty either. Just my 2 cents
