Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

The MAB PA-15 debuted in the sixties, a 15 shot 9X19mm pistol that would have made an excellent sidearm, and though they were bought in small numbers by the French military, they never officially adopted it as general issue. It was apparently popular with French Foreign Legion and private purchase were made by officers. The MAB PA-15 was even liked by prominent gun writers like George Nonte in the US. Out of production now they were interesting and rarely seen pistols in the States. They were well made, heavy and used an unusual rotating barrel design(later used by Colt on their now defunct All American 2000.). I found my pistols to be pretty accurate.

I have had a couple over the years. One had a gray phosphate finish came in it's original Gold box with bank certificate. The other was blued with a holster however I sold them both and my MAS 49/56 when the French were more irritating than usual in the early part of this century. It is something I may eventually regret. Luckily I snapped a shot of the one with the holster before letting it go.

The one below was not mine but shows the certificate.

They certainly are not common. The OGCA is this weekend in Ohio, so one might turn up there but you rarely see them at more pedestrian gun shows or outside of gun collections at this point.
