Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

Well I have figured out a simple way to get those pesky screws that the French put on their rifles. I had to buy a good snap ring plier set that had the interchangeable bits. I used 2 of the bits and a set of channelock pliers. See the photo's. The bits fit well and the channelock's hold the bit tight enough that I had no issues with moving that could cause scratching.

Just make sure the pliers are tight!!!

It worked well for me. I at first tried actual snap ring pliers but there was too much flexing. Getting the bits far enough in the teeth of the channelocks stopped all flexing.

Good luck!
