Now for the really odd one, here is a French Mas36 with NO serial number. 1940 dated barrel unknown build time and true history for these no serial numbered rifles. Now I might have posted this one before but I'm trying to kick start you French collector wannbe's!

Interesting. If I was going to start with these, I'd go with the oldest first... Berthiers & Lebels. SW

That's the only real way to tell if it's the correct barrel to the receiver. And on these like new ones sold many are WW2 era rifles that were parked and in most cases re barreled. Then there are many that look like the refurbished ones but are correct post war like the 1951 Mas also posted here.

Nice range and nice looking 36/51! I have several 36's from pre war to post war but still no 36/51 that is nice! the ones I have are well used and not matching. That's fine with me but I would still one day like to get one of the nice ones!
