If there is a French expert here please let me know what I have bought from Gun Broker. I just got this auction but was not at all expecting to. It is a matching rifle so thats why I bid on it. Any info would be great, I have been watching these and they seem to sell much higher which is the real reason I'm surprised I got it. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewIt ... m=78715711 |

Tim the Mle16 uses a 5 round Mannlicher type clip, the bottom of the mag is a hinged cover. I've been told you can use the 5 round in a 3 round magazine by only loading the 3 in it.At least the 5 round ones can be had-I've never even seen a 3 rounder.-TR |

You know I took that rifle out the other day. I only had a single 5 round clip. I loaded the clip worked the bolt, pulled the decent trigger and Bang my shoulder fell off and I only have one good arm. Boy that thing has a kick! And my buddy after the first 3 shots refused to shoot it, so I had to forced my self to finish the remaining 2 rounds with a sand bag against my shoulder!!! |
