The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. This of course is commercial but I thought you all would enjoy seeing it. The BM-59s are not all that common in the States, but among those the rarest of these rifles are the BM-59 E. Those were inspired by modifications made to M1 Garand rifle done for NATO allies by Beretta.

The serial number on this one from my collection is below 460.

They are beautiful guns. Here she is with some of my Italian long arms made by Beretta and one special edition M9 at the top. From the top down we have an BM59 Nigerian. BM59 Mark I, BM59E and an Early Berben corp imported BM62. All of these are in 7.62 NATO.

The little black gun at the bottom is the Beretta AR-70 in 5.56mm.

I saw a BM59 para at a gun show several years back, sadly I was quite a few dollars short that day...

I started collecting late in my teens and am pushing fifty now, so luckily I lived through the glorious pre-ban 80s period and managed to have a few shekels in my pocket at the time and bought some neat stuff.

Problem is this stuff is too valuable to shoot and spare parts are scarce... Stunned and somewhat delighted when I see the prices on these things when they turn up at an Ohio Gun Collectors Association show.

Luckily I have other things to shoot.
