Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

That's a stylized FNA and a trademark so to speak for "National Arms Factory". Seen on Brescia rifles and parts thereof. SW

90% of the time they are fake. Real ones will be seen on a Kreighoff conversion or one of the rifles seized by Germany after the king surrendered.

The siezed rifles have an armorer's mark that just shows a cursory inspection was made by an armorer & shows the arm fit for use. That will be a razi eagle over HzA- Jt3 or similar. Most of those were brought back by GIs who took them from warehouses in Germany after the war.

The mark is very small and hard to see. When I got mine, the seller hadn't even seen it or the price would have been more than the $65 I paid.

There are many bogus razi 7.9 conversions floating around & are still being sold by Hunters Lodge in Tenn. They are fakes!!! SW

Mauser made no Carcanos. The M will be an assembly mark. Like when an armorer finished a certain detail such as making sure the part would "take the gauge" it was this marked so following armorers would know that item had been completed and not waste time doing it again.

No Carcanos were made outside the Italian armories. SW
