Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

I finally won an auction for a Carcano in 7.35.

I have it in my possession now.
I finally received the Carcano today. It is not SA or import marked. It appears to have Arabic writing on the receiver (I will try to post some pics)? I originally thought the stock had been sanded, but the cartouches are there and the stock number matches the receiver. I forget to add before that I just happen to have the missing screw just laying around here.

I don't think that's Arabic - it looks like it was a re-cycled long rifle barrel that was turned down and rechambered to 7.35 which is very common on the M38 short rifles.

If you can get a clear shot, I think I could decipher the markings. SW
