While searching for a pic of native levies using M.95 long rifles ( I know a pic exists, but I flat can't find it) I did locate a few WW2 aircraft pics - some in AOI. SW
Breda ground attack aircraft. These were not overly speedy and suffered huge losses on all fronts.

Photo recon over N Africa. The B&W pic doesn't show how the paint scheme got the handle, "sand and spinach".

Loading ammo and checking electrical circuits. Italian logostics were horrible at best, and each "Stormo" had the majority of their planes in pieces due to lack of spares.

"Gas 'er up, Guido!" Given the supply situation, it's not unreasonable to speculate gasoline was pilfered from the Germans or Italian armored units.

Launching a spotter for the big battleship guns.

But wait! What's wrong with this pic? The spotter lacks floats. So when the Regia Marina is heavily engaged far out to sea, what does the pilot do when low on gas?

I found a bunch more but they can wait for a day when the Italian forum is slow.
