I'm not sure what information you'd like, but it's essentially the 6,5 Carcano opened up to .300 In fact, to make the brass, you simply run 6,5 Carcano through the 7,35 FL die. grafs.com sells Lee dies for not much and Hornady bullets. Brass & ammo now, too my spies tell me.
I have found that caliber to be much more forgiving than 6,5 to reload. I use hard cast, gas checked 30-30 bullets sized down. Lee Precision sells custom bullet sizing kits. You call their toll free # & tell the receptionist what diameter you want. $30 and takes around 3 weeks. I buy a box of 170 grain 30-30 bullets & am able to use them for 2 calibers that way.
7,35 uses exactly the same clip as 6,5... infact, everything is the same but bore diameter. The caliber conversion was starting out to be a logistics nightmare, so Italian big cheezes switched back to 6,5. Those already made were simply warehoused. Same for 7,35 MGs.
Very often the 7,35s are in very good condition having seen little use. The cav carbines were issued to fascist youth groups for drilling and familiarization.
M38 short rifles are common on the auctions - cav carbines are scarce. Italy sold Finland a quantity of the short rifles & these will have the Finn SA mark near the serial number. Non-SA M38s are worth around 10 - 15% more, IMO.
Bayonets are seen in 4 styles - all of which bring more than the rifles. SA slings are fairly common on the auctions.
