Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Well I was hoping 5thdragoons would be the first with the Carcanos but I couldn't wait. Here are my newest 2 Carcanos.

One is a 6.5 Calvary carbine, the stock needed a real good cleaning and it needed a bayonet. I had a parts cav carbine that donated the bayonet. The surface metal was lightly frosted with areas of fine rust. after a tear down and 3 days of soaking in 3&1 light oil with rubdowns of 0000 steel wool it looks almost new.

The next one is my long rifle FAT41 that I had to strip off the lacquer off of and refinish. I think it looks alot better and it looks good next the other Carcanos!

Well I hope everyone makes it over to the new site, it sure is nice to start fresh sometimes! and get away from the ez folks.
