Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

All the information will be on the barrel if only the serial number. Late war examples are seen that way. After the King surrendered in 1943 there was no longer a sense of urgency to dot the Is & cross the Ts with markings so they were not.

A pic will help, but small details like does it have an adjustable rear sight? Star or Crown over the chamber on the barrel? Fixed rear sight?

I don't need the entire serial number - just the letter prefix.

And!! Welcome to the site! :welcome: SW

The serial number starts with TR and it has fixed sites with the bayonet lug. Stock and receiver have same serial number. Over all it is very clean and in good condition. My father-in-law has it now. Will add some pictures as soon as I can.

Thank You, I have learned a lot from this site.

It's not chiseled in stone, but TR comes back to one of the last cav carbines made by Gardone in late 1943. A pic will nail it down. SW
