The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

And $35 for a Tokarev auto loader rifle!

Keeping things in perspective, in 1968 I was getting $94 a month as an E-4. We got an additional $65/month combat pay in Viet Nam & it was supposed to be a good deal since we got it whether we were shot at or not.

I bought my first handgun in 1970 = a brass frame FIE 1858 Rem repro. Paid like $29 & could barely afford it on cowpoke wages. ( still have it!) SW
