Found this in a vintage photoset with no caption. I THINK it's a Carcano. The bayonet sure looks Italian. Opinions? SW

Saw this on the OTHER forum. Looks like an M41 angled slightly toward the camera to make it look shorter. I like the armed fellow's uniform.

The pic was in a Russian photoset with no caption. But the Jew and guard seem a little well-fed to be legit. Can't say for sure. I'd like to know where they lifted the pic but pretty much no way to find out. SW

Does the pointy stick go into the nazi in the next frame? I'm just curious.

What's an Italian bayonet? I'm lucky to see an intact stock in these parts, let alone a bayonet.
