Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

That grip would be painful with full house loads! :-o That's a lot of effort just to monkey up a rifle.

I just got this one. I took a big gamble with it, but I think it proves Italy did experiment with 8mm conversions during the war. Notice the 4UT mark. I can't imagine why an 8mm conversion would need an inspection.

More pics when I have it in hand.

And! Good to see you again! SW

That's nicer than the ones I've I've seen lately.

I am broke but I really would like to toss a bid on this nice Beretta Navy.

That's an exceptional piece of lumber for that late in the war. Mr Beretta had some decent walnut set aside for civilian shotguns, but the fascists found it. He didn't want to use it for military arms, but they put a gun to his head ( literally) and he saw their point.

By mid-WW1, walnut was extinct in most of Europe. American gun makers imported Turkish walnut for high end guns.

I've been watching that one, too. I figured it would be way over 200 by now. SW

I bought a Beretta 91/28 a few months ago. I finally fired it a few times a couple of weeks ago. It is the SMOOTHEST Carcano I've ever shot. I shot six rounds from the shoulder. Never had to lower the gun to rechamber. The clip fell out just like it is supposed to. Now I'm hot to get more Berettas.
