Attention New Members and those new registering! We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7. Thanks for joining us from the administration.

What an effort! 712 pages of which I wrote about 100. Obscure items too numerous to mention are illustrated - like an army issue harmonica. If you're into Italian militaria, this is a must have book!

...I have received my copy of the book-and I am honestly in AWE and practically speechless :-o

...the quality of information,and the time putting it all together shows a true labor of love-it is OUTSTANDING.....I humbly give it the highest recommendations possible :grin:

im really happy to associate with such well published ilk , i have no interest in the italians , but that is because im scottish/english and looked that direction first , these are a fascinating topic

My heritage is mostly Dutch - no Italian at all. By chance, I found myself with half a dozen Carcanos & realized I knew nothing about them. Over the period of several years, I became friends with big time collectors in Italy, bought everything I'd never seen or heard of before & shared information.

One thing led to another & if I may say so without sounding vain, I put together one of the better Italian rifle collections in the country.

Comrade Publisher got wind of the Italian forum here & after reading a couple of the detailed posts, he invited me to write a book on the topic with him.

My 4th book is at the printer & I've just dived in on #5 which relates to Japanese WW2 militaria.

Now if I could just sell fiction!
