There has been mention of this launcher in various posts here. I finally found decent pics for collectors reference. They're from a live auction. The opener is $3500! :-o

Reserve? I figure it will take north of ten grand to buy it.

But we'll save the pics. SW

We don't have a rule here against posting pics from live auctions. I figure it's all right if for informational purposes & not something the poster is trying to sell.

Here's a bomb for the Brixia launcher - couldn't find my good ones. Shown with an 8mm round for size perspective, it's not hard to see the burst radius wouldn't amount to much.

The body should be red but I haven't the right shade.

My bombs are all for the Brixia. They do seem to look alike from the drawing in Di Giorgio and Pettenelli's Carcano book of a rifle bomb.

Knowing the rifle bombs are 38mm is a big help! Grazie! SW
