The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. This forum mostly deal with M'91 logn guns but Italian army had also many short guns.
Here some handguns from my collection, both Italian production and Spanish production:

They are a 1874 Glisenti, a 1916 Spanish Tettoni, and two 1889 Bodeo, a model A and a Model B.

And here the whole collection:

These were the standard model but there were also many variations about these guns.

I also have Spanish revolvers used by Italians. The big top break by Obreros Hermanos is interesting. I have a Ruby style 32 automatic with RE mark. Both are buried in the safe so no pics right now. SW
