Any idea how much a Model 91 Cav. Carbine would be worth with capture papers? It is matching and is dated 1918. Not looking to sell it, but haven't seen another Carcano with capture papers in a long, long time so was wondering.

Okay, I don't know the market as well as "someone"

but I would say the papers would add at least 100 maybe 150. I feel it greatly enhances the aspect that the cav carbine is an historical artifact.

If a few photos could be added, it would make quite a display as well as a statement.

The prices are only a guess on my part and what I would personally pay if the cav carbine in question was in sufficient condition. Like you, it has been quite a while since I have seen any WWII weapon offered with papers intact. SW

Not an expert but I would venture to guess that WWII capture papers would add more to an arm than say VN papers would. WWII stuff has become quite collectible these past few years.

But then again I may be dead wrong (wouldn't surprise me :-?

)

I passed on one about a year ago the price was 300+. I would have brought it but at the time I needed a 7.35 m38
