Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

What were the makers of the known 8mm Carcanos? were there more then 2?

Just asking for the rest of us gringos.

Here are 4 new ones for me 3 FNA-B's and 1 unmarked.

A good day for me as I got to dig these out of a pile on a pallet and yes they were at the bottom!! I do need sights if they are out there!!

The two makers names reported for the 8MM TS carbines are Brescia and Terni.

Yes FNA-B is Brescia (Fabbrica Nationale D'armi Brescia)

You can use standard M38 TS carbine sight blades available from Springfield Sporters www.ssporters.com

Does anyone have photos of the HK (logo) conversions?

Also why is there FNA-B (Bresca), Terni and scrubbed receivers if there was just 2 maker conversions?

Who are the scrubbed no names in the line up?

There are some photos of an M41 HK conversion at http://forums.gunboards.com/showthread.php?t=1621

Some of the rifles with scrubbed markings can be Id'ed as Brescia made by looking at the bottom of the rear reciver tang, some have "L. Franchi, Brescia" stamped there. However not all Brescia made rifles have this stamp, only some of them. If the markings are totalally scrubed than I don't think there is any way to tell who made it.
