The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. Well here is now my oldest Carbine

Its a 1906 Brescia with great bore. I had to do a lot of cleaning and touch up on this one but it came out looking presentable. It has the nice crossed rifles accuracy mark but also has what looks like a bulls eye target above the rifles. First time I have seen that mark.

The bullseye mark is not common. I have seen two sizes of bullseye - yours is the larger. Not sure what's up with that, but I have both sizes - both on long rifles. SW

Well here is the rifle again! Its the redo of the redo! :-?

I was not happy with the stock color, it was not the right color of my other older Carcanos, so I chemically stripped it (lacquer thinner) and oiled with a oil stain a few times and got close then a few coats of minerial oil and she is good now!

Here is a close up with another Carcano of mine that is in its original finish.

Much better me thinks!!

I look forward to shooting the 1906 as it has a great bore and is crossed rifle marked. As soon as my shoulder and back are better

i'll be out there a testing away with this one and one of my M41's with the same crossed rifle markings.
