The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username. I see Carcano parts on Gunbroker all the time. I've purchased several there. I've also gone to Numrich.

A 91 should have a straight handle no?

Also the earlier ones had a split type lug with the extractor in it thenn it was changed at some point.

The experts will have to chime in here

I are no expert, but the M91 long rifle came stock with a straight bolt handle. Springfield sporters sells replacements for 10 bucks... when you order one, just confirm it has the extractor present. Most do as they are a pain to remove.

The bolt handles were bent on some by the Italian exporter to make them appear " more sporty". :roll:

Yes they (M91's) have straight handles. The extractors should exchange. This one (extractor) is a little wide on the narrow end. I can file it to make it work.

I didn't know the bolt bodies came with the extractor. I might go that route. I just looked at there website, they have the other parts also.

I have bought a couple bolt bodies from him & both came with the extractor. If you break your replacment, I've a spare you can just have for the postage. SW

It is my belief that the extractors were fitted to the bolt during assembly at the factory. There were so many subcontractors that made parts that I think it would be very difficult for each one to come with exact diminsions for a drop in fit.

I have had to fit several extractors that came from one bolt and installed in another one.
