Attention New Members and those new registering!
We had a lot of problems with spammers and bot attacks with the stock measures provided by the software. The 7 for registration was a fix that we came up with on our own that has worked quite well. Yes it is a PIA for both you and administration to put you onto your chosen username.
If you come back on and your login does not work retry with your username without the 7.

Thanks for joining us from the administration.

got this rifle on auction this morning, and need to get a new stock, handguard, and hardware. I'm thinking it was a 91/28, but might have been an m38. which would be correct, and does anyone know where i could get a stock set? I didn't think much of this one till i saw beretta and gardone vt on the shank. y'all have a good day, Keith

Keith it' a M91/28. You can tell by the adjustable rear sight and the 1929 date. A M38 would have a fixed rear sight and dated 1938 or later.

Check this one for any anchor stamps as it could be a Navy issue.

You will probably have to find a low cost M91/28 at a gunshow for the stock. I could help you with the handguard when I make my next batch if you can't find one.
