As shown at the bottom of the item, I told the seller this is a sporterized RUSSIAN rifle. Not wanting to confuse him further, I didn't mention it had been used by the Finns at some point. Also at some point, he did not believe that this is NOT a Carcano... :vis:

So here you have it... a RARE 7.62 Carcano with Russian markings. Obviously a relic of the Bug river campaign in what is now the Ukraine.

I just bought more Italian militaria, or I'd be all OVER this one!
