Here's one you don't see very often but could give you a surprise if you do: An M91 long rifle rechambered for the 6.5 Greek Mannlicher cartridge. Which is a couple mm longer than 6.5 Carcano.

And if you were shooting milsurp ammo with brittle brass from old age, you could have a case fail. Actually, in the brginning, they were intended to fire both cartridges interchangably.

Shown is one of the conversion marks - a big 'E' which has a connection to some Greek word - can't recall specifically right now. You will also see "It. u Gr." "Italian und Greische" Neither are common.

I bid on this one but dropped out due to overall poor condition. I figure it was used by Greek partisans against the Germans.

This another of the variations that are seldom seen but a few are out there. SW

....no idea how much stuff like this goes for-but wouldnt it be neat to have one???..but then again-the $$$ factor rolls in-especially if uncommon....heck-beans-n-weenies for a month would help pay,no????...I'm sure wife and offspring would understand and be totally supportive... ;)

I dropped out @ 200 & it went for 201. I would have liked it, but rare junk is still junk.

Something you don't see very often, though. SW

You know I think I just saw a listing for ammo for one of those! To bad you did not get it. A better one will show up.
